For our office in Luxembourg, we are seeking:
IT Operations System Engineer
Our Offer:
Being part of the IT operations team. Designing and implementing computer systems, software and networks. This includes defining complex system requirements, determining system specifications, processes and working parameters. The overall function of this occupation is to ensure system hardware and software are compatible and capable of required performance and availability metrics.
Key responsibilities:
- Oversees all transitions into production
- Develop and complete actions in system specifications, technical and logistical requirements and other disciplines
- Create and maintain programmatic and technical documentation to insure efficient planning and execution
- Manage and document system configurations
- Manages all system back-up and restore protocol
- Implementation, support and inventory control of applications used
- Works closely with management to prioritize business goals and information needs
Your profile:
- Strong coordination, organization, teaming and communication abilities
- Works well individually or in a group setting
- Ability to work under pressure and time constraints
- Successfully presents technical information
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
- Maintains strong attention to detail in high-pressure situations
- Fluency in English is required
Specific knowledge:
- Systems (Microsoft Active Directory / SQL Server / Sharepoint 2007-2010)
- Mail (MS Exchange 2010 / IBL Lotus Notes)
- Packaging-Deployment : (Novell ZEN / Microsoft SCCM)
- Storage : SAN EMC
- Virtual : Citrix / VMware
- Hardware : Dell
