Julien Renaux is a Conducting Officer within the Management Company of Alter Domus.

Julien began his career with Arthur Andersen, where he specialised in Asset Management and Global Risk Management solutions for major Banking institutions and investment management firms. He joined the Advisory practice of Ernst & Young after the merger with Arthur Andersen. He was involved in Alternative Investments, including private equity and real estate advisory missions, transaction services, due diligence, valuation, mergers & acquisition, investment fund structuring, setting-up of Alternative fund administration and custody capabilities, for private banks, investment managers and wealth managers. He was working closely with tax experts with a specific focus on buy-side oriented transactions.

Julien then joined the General Partner of a private equity investment fund, responsible for the overall governance of the GP including active Portfolio and Risk management.

All of the above experience led Julien to co-found an independent Fund Management organisation in 2009. He has been involved in all the phases of the firm’s development since its creation with a main focus on private equity, real estate, debt and commodities investments.

Julien’s academic credentials include a Master’s Degree in Finance & Management, and an extra curriculum specialisation in Financial Markets, options and OTC Markets.
