Italo SICAV plc in landmark loan fund agreement

Italo SICAV plc was issued a Collective Investment Scheme licence on the 18th May 2015 for the scheme’s first sub-fund referred as the ‘Sentinel Fund’. This type of scheme is the first of its kind to be established as an Alternative Investment Fund that targets professional investors and as such, has to comply with a host of Loan Fund conditions for which Alter Domus is pleased to provide Fund Administration and Depositary Lite Services to this new scheme.

France new investment vehicle Société de libre partenariat (SLP), a free limited partnership

In France the so-called Macron law is set to introduce a new vehicle in France to facilitate investment, especially from foreign sources, in unlisted entities. An amendment adopted last week by the special committee responsible for examining the bill for “growth and activity” is aiming to create a new type of French private equity vehicle: Société de libre partenariat (SLP), a free limited partnership.

The Russian Finance Ministry has drafted a decree that will exclude Malta from the blacklist of offshore jurisdictions, according to the Russian news agency Tass.

Tax Alert – Where do we stand on OECD/G20 Base Erosion and Profit Shifting (BEPS) Project?

The OECD presented on 16 September 2014 the first wave of widely anticipated deliverables in its BEPS (Base Erosion and Profit Shifting) project. Up until now the rules presented are of recommendation with a pre-approved political consensus by G20 and OECD members’ states, therefore countries should follow their domestic procedures to adapt their local legislation to the new standards.
