We are pleased to share with you the fifth edition of our International Annual Update. 2016/2017 has been again a very active year on many fronts, especially on the regulatory and tax side.

As a part of Alter Domus’ commitment to providing the highest quality of service, we consistently monitor and review new and amended laws and regulations that may have an impact on our clients’ businesses around the world.

This Update highlights some of the main developments that have occurred in 2016 from an accounting, legal and tax point of view in several jurisdictions where we operate, including Australia, China, Cyprus, France, Germany, Guernsey, Hong-Kong, Ireland, Jersey, Luxembourg, Malta, Singapore, and The Netherlands.  It also highlights the main changes announced for 2017.

2016 has been again a very active year on many fronts, especially on the regulatory and tax side. Highlights in this edition include the continuing developments with regards to FATCA and CRS. We also discuss in more detail the OECD’s on-going work and developments around the BEPS initiative.
