Based in California, Charlton has over 19 years of experience in Institutional and Alternative Investment Finance covering the entire alternative spectrum (private equity, venture capital, real assets, hedge, asset allocators – pension, endowments, foundations).
Charlton has a combined 13 years covering the fund administration and prime brokerage space, with the last 2.5 years primarily focused on private equity, venture capital and real assets. He has an established track record of maintaining key client relationships across the alternative fund space.
Prior to joining Alter Domus, Charlton was a Director of Business Development for SS&C, primarily focused on fund administration sales. He spent his prior 8 years in the Prime Brokerage/Broker Dealer space focused on Business Development and Account Management.
Charlton holds a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from University of California, Davis and a Master’s of Science in Financial Analysis and Investment Management from Saint Mary’s College of California.
