Chris Barker

Chris Barker is Chief Information Security Officer at Alter Domus.

Chris joined the Alter Domus Group in June 2018 and is a Director responsible for Information Security for the North America offices. He is on a team that is tasked with monitoring the internal and external security of networks and applications. The team also continuously reviews and implements new systems to maintain IT security best practices. Chris was the Lead Implementor for the US ISO 27001 certification in 2021.

Before joining Cortland, Chris worked at the IT Managed Service provider that has supported Cortland since 2008. His most recent role was vCIO where he consulted on strategic IT decisions that helped shape the infrastructure, security, and resilience of the business’ network and applications.

Chris graduated from the University of Illinois with a bachelor’s degree in Management Information Systems.
