Courtney Thomas

Courtney joined Alter Domus in January 2019 and is based in Chicago. In her role, Courtney oversees all of Alter Domus’ client-facing portal technologies. Her responsibilities include roadmap strategy and management, portal integrations, and overall user experience. Courtney leads collaboration with internal teams as well as clients to ensure effective product management.

Courtney has extensive fund administration and operational experience across multiple verticals including private equity, private debt, and real estate. Courtney has also worked on developing scalable, technology-led products and services aimed at delivering unique value to clients and other partners. 

Prior to joining Alter Domus, Courtney spent five years at SS&C Technologies, where she spearheaded the SS&C Private Capital Group. She was responsible for assembling the new business unit while overseeing the operations team as well as development of portal and accounting system technologies. Before the Private Capital Group formation, she oversaw the Professional Services & Software Consulting team for the SS&C Total Return™ accounting platform. Prior to SS&C, Courtney held various roles at UBS supporting global trading operations and implementing technology solutions.

Courtney received her B.S. in Finance and Accounting from DePaul University in Chicago, Illinois.
