Georgios Michael is the Head of Operations at Alter Domus Cyprus
As Head of Operations for Alter Domus’ Cyprus office and part of the local management team, Georgios is responsible for the business teams, client delivery, and the application of proper corporate governance and regulatory compliance throughout the structures managed by the Cyprus office.
Georgios has been with Alter Domus since 2012, where he has gained a wide range of expertise in the fields of corporate administration and accounting services for the real estate, infrastructure, and banking sectors. He holds a deep and comprehensive understanding of a vast array of complex cross-border transactions and setup of investment structures, with clients ranging from large multinational cooperates and banks to private equity funds and HNWI.
Georgios began his professional career as an auditor at Deloitte. Having worked there for five years, he gained wide-ranging experience in high-profile public companies in various sectors, including real estate, construction, insurance, retail, and manufacturing companies.
Georgios holds a BA (Hons) in Accounting and Finance, with a focus on derivative securities, from the University of Newcastle upon Tyne. He is a qualified accountant and member of both the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales (ICAEW) and the Institute of Certified Public Accountants of Cyprus (ICPAC).
