John Mautz
John Mautz is Head of Loan Servicing, North America.
John has over three decades of leadership and experience in mortgage-backed securities (MBS) investor analytics, financial modeling, tax administration and loan servicing. Over the course of his career, John has overseen the modelling and administration for over 2000 RMBS, CMBS, and ABS structures in the U.S. and Europe.
Prior to joining Cortland, John was a founding principal and head of the MBS Analytics and Investor Services group at ABN AMRO's LaSalle Bank Global Securities and Trust Services business unit. As an early member of the CRE Finance Council, John worked on key sub-committees related to standardization of data. Before joining LaSalle, John managed the MBS analytics team for Security Pacific Bank that provided fiduciary trust, paying agent, investor reporting, financial modeling and REMIC tax agent services to the capital markets
John graduated from California State Polytechnic University, Pomona with a Bachelor of Science degree in Finance.
