Best in Class: Reflecting on Our Achievements

SHARE
As we enter the new year, we’re reflecting on some of the major accomplishments Alter Domus was recognized for over the past twelve months. Despite the fears of an oncoming recession, economic uncertainty, and the emergence of new geopolitical risks that produced significant disruptions to global markets, Alter Domus was able to record a year of remarkable growth.
Throughout the year, we welcomed over 2,100 new employees, grew our global footprint to more than 37 offices in 21 jurisdictions, refined our service offering with a wealth of new innovative technologies and expertise, and exceeded over $1.8 trillion in assets under administration.
Our strong performance did not go unnoticed and was recognized across the market, most notably through an array of prestigious market leadership awards.
Private Equity Wire European Awards – We kicked off the year by being awarded the “Best Fund Administrator for GPs with Assets over $30bn” at the Private Equity Wire European Awards in March 2022. Voted for by private equity practitioners themselves, the accolade serves as a testament to our continued commitment to meeting the evolving needs of fund managers by providing innovative, customer-driven solutions. This win marks the second year in a row that Alter Domus won the award.
Drawdown Awards 2022 – In June, Alter Domus won the award for the categories “Fund Administration: Over $50bn (total assets under administration)” and “Fund Administration: ManCo Services” at the Drawdown Awards. Viewed as one of the industry’s most reputable award ceremonies, it recognizes excellence and innovation among private capital fund operations in Europe. Alter Domus won the awards through a judging panel consisting of leading private capital fund COOs, CFOs, CCOs, GCs, and CTOs.
SAP Best Customer Success Awards – Later in June, Alter Domus was named Bronze Winner of SAP’s “Digital Pioneer” award for our SAP/HANA global implementation project at SAP’s Best of Customer Success Awards 2022. The award recognizes the seamless integration of the project, which brought leading automated processes to the core business operations of Alter Domus’ network of more than 37 global offices.
Private Equity Wire’s European Credit Awards – Our comprehensive credit solutions were honored at Private Equity Wire’s European Credit Awards in October when Alter Domus received the award for “Best Debt/Loan Administrator.” The award underpins the exceptional growth of our Debt Capital Market Solutions in Europe and serves as a testament to the expertise of our debt specialists, our best-in-class technology, and the important role we play in supporting our partners’ middle and back offices.
Private Equity Wire US Awards 2022 – In late October, our ability to provide market-leading solutions to US private debt managers was recognized when Alter Domus was named “Best Fund Administrator - Private Debt” at Private Equity Wire’s US Awards. The award honors the continued expansion of our Debt Capital Markets Solutions in the US and our team’s ability to provide market-leading support for private debt managers’ operational, data, and transparency requirements.
Asset Servicing Times Industry Excellence Awards – Most recently, Alter Domus was crowned “Asia Pacific Fund Administrator of the Year” at the industry-renowned Asset Servicing Times Industry Excellence Awards in November. Designed to reward fund administrators that meld cutting-edge technology, innovative solutions, and excellent client service to meet the dynamic needs of fund managers in Asia Pacific, the award honors Alter Domus’ rapidly growing team and service offering in the region.
Preqin’s Service Providers Report – In addition to the industry awards listed above, Alter Domus’ impressive performance in 2022 was noted in Preqin’s Service Providers Report.
