Cyprus ‘Destination of Choice’ for Investment Funds

In an interview with Investment Funds Cyprus, Evdokia Stavraki-Stephanou discusses how Cyprus’ investment fund sector has developed to allow the country to become a leading domicile for EU fund managers.
“Cyprus is the new kid on the block in the industry of investment funds and, as such, if faces both challenges and opportunities. We are better placed to avoid mistakes – which other countries that were first in this space had to resolve – and differentiate our offering in order to make it more competitive and attractive. We have all the elements necessary to become a successful fund jurisdiction, including legislation, a high-caliber workforce and the right tax system with very attractive benefits,” explains Evdokia.
