Speaking with Finance Dublin for their December Funds Monitor, Ross McCann, Head of Fund Services Ireland, gave his take on the country’s outlook in terms of ESG, fintech, Brexit, and of course the recently passed Investment Limited Partnership (ILP) regime.
Ross explained the ongoing shift in the private asset funds space since the arrival of Covid-19: “Whether it be outsourcing, technology or data, the game is changing. As the current market buzz words and the RFPs being issued show, the pandemic is likely to prove a turning point for operating models.”
Looking to the future, Ross said: “2021 promises to be one of the most significant years for Irish funds in a long time.”
