Private equity managers around the globe are recognizing the untapped potential of retail investors and are eagerly investigating structures and regulations that will allow them to accommodate retail capital. Tim explores the challenges private equity managers face when trying to make this happen while drawing comparisons to other asset classes that have introduced special frameworks to allow for retailisation.
“There will be challenges along the way, but ultimately it is safe to assume that we are well on our way to the retailisation of private equity,” states Tim.
