Lisa Crawley is Appointed Global Chief Operating Officer

On August 1, 2019, Lisa Crawley was officially appointed Chief Operating Officer of the Alter Domus Group.

Before joining Alter Domus, Lisa served as Director of Business Support at Worldpay in the UK for seven years where she designed and established a customer-centric, value-driven centre of excellence supporting several million payments a day, via 300 payment methods in 126 currencies across 146 countries.

In her new role, Lisa is responsible for Alter Domus’ operations across the globe, bringing her extensive experience to benefit both clients and colleagues. Lisa will focus on three key precepts:

People First

Lisa is a passionate people leader and will work to ensure that all colleagues are engaged and motivated to deliver excellent service to clients. Lisa believes diversity in the workplace is essential and, although the focus in the immediate term will be on gender, diversity goes well beyond this. Increased diversity leads to better innovation and pioneering solutions that benefit the entire organisation. Lisa explains, “Managers and leaders must ensure that we all understand what diversity really means. It is not just about inclusion, it has tangible and direct benefits. Companies with proper diversity outperform their competitors and achieve higher profits. We want that.”

Think Globally, Act Locally

With 20 countries to deal with, Lisa will help the teams promote solutions on a global scale, whilst acting for our clients with the nimbleness and agility of a local partner. She will review our internal processes to improve the operational delivery and customer experience. She reveals, “We apply the concept ‘Think Globally, Act Locally’ to everything we do. Our growth shows that our clients like working with a partner that has both geographic spread as well as the skill to get the job done right every time.”

Digitalisation & Innovation

As part of her review of operational systems and processes, Lisa will look to eliminate repetitive, manual activities to allow colleagues to add more value for clients. “In doing so,” she explains, “we put the client at the heart of everything we do, while simultaneously improving our operational efficiency.” Lisa aims to achieve this through the increased use of automation, further digitalisation and other initiatives to support greater efficiency and innovation.
